10 pieces of advice before leaving for Umrah


Some people may be heading for a spiritual journey in life soon, so I just wanted to take a moment and give some advice to those who will soon travel to perform the beautiful Umrah trip. The following parts of the advice are among those I have received and some of what I thought while I was abroad in holy sites:


Do your homework

Learn about Mecca and Medina. Learn about Umrah. When I was planing for my trip, I came across many different sites providing different umrah packages. However, I found it difficult to find Umrah package. Then I came across a wonderful site providing cheapest Umrah packages "CheapestUmrah Packages UK". I urge you to know what you are about to try before you go. Also, make a copy of your passport and important documents and email them to yourself and your loved ones until you get a copy if something happens.


The company manufactures man

If you go with other people, make sure they are good people. The company makes a man, and this is true when they are in holy sites too. Having a good company can have a lasting impact on your trip. Would people encourage you to pray at the mosque and do the extra travelers, or would they instead encourage you to eat 4000 calorie meals from McDonald's at 2 am until you experience a coma and have difficulty getting up to the dawn?

Learn the rules of ihraam

There are simple rules that people can violate without thinking. For example, know that you can not use perfumed soap during Ihram, so try to get some invisible soap before you leave. Another rule is that you can not cover your head with your ihraam (for men). So, even if the weather is really sunny, do not eliminate this towel to protect yourself. Another problem is that it is important to cover your 'awrah in the case of ihraam. Do not expose yourself while wearing it, just be careful, God willing. 

Barber cleaning


At the end of Umrah, it is usual for men and women to cut their hair. For men, it's not just about cutting your hair. Instead, cut your hair everywhere, even if you do not want to ring it. If you decide to lock it (recommended), make sure that the barber you are visiting is using a new disposable blade. The Saudi government requires this, and most barbers follow this rule, but just be more careful and open your barber in front of you. Do not want to transfer some blood-borne diseases such as hepatitis C from the client's dried blood in front of you. For women, do not expose yourself and cut your hair at the Kaaba. Wait until you return to the hotel until you can take off your hijab and cut your hair. Do not sacrifice your humility because you are in a hurry to end the Umrah.

Take some Vaseline

This advice is specific to men. When you are in a state of ihraam, you do not wear any boxer or underwear. Cutting your legs and axes can make a world of difference.

Visit the kindergarten

The best time to visit the city's kindergarten is at night. Kindergarten is a piece of paradise found in the Prophet's Mosque in Medina. They are covered with a green carpet and are therefore easy to identify but difficult to use. Many people have a goal of trying to pray in kindergarten while they are in town, so large numbers of people are competing for a very small area. After talking to people living in the city, the best time to try visiting the kindergarten (for men) is at night. If you wait a few hours after dinner or a few hours before dawn, the rush in the kindergarten is much less and easier to pray and you have some peaceful time to think about the kindergarten without the hustle and bustle that may be present at other times.

Visit sites in the city



The best time to visit sites in my opinion is in the morning time sometime between sunrise and noon prayer. You can visit places such as the site of Battle of Sun as well as the Mosque of Quba, the first mosque built by the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Do not forget to pray two rak'ahs in the Dome Mosque and reap the benefits of Umrah while you are there, God willing!

Best times for performing Umrah

What is Umrah?

  In Arabic, the word "Umrah" is derived from I'timaar which means visiting. However, "Umrah in Islamic terms means visiting the Kaaba, performing tawaaf around it and walking between Safa and Marwa seven times, and the imam performing ihraam is forbidden to shave his hair or cut it." Umrah can be performed with Hajj and other days as well.
