What is Umrah?

 In Arabic, the word "Umrah" is derived from I'timaar which means visiting. However, "Umrah in Islamic terms means visiting the Kaaba, performing tawaaf around it and walking between Safa and Marwa seven times, and the imam performing ihraam is forbidden to shave his hair or cut it." Umrah can be performed with Hajj and other days as well.

Umrah can be performed at any time of the year, and there is no specific time for Umrah.

 Four pillars of Umrah:

 A) Ihram: supposed in the meeqaat.

B) Tawaaf: Around the house.

C) Courier: walking between Safa and Marwa, and consists of seven circles.

D) Tahal - Lol: This means that it is not permissible to go out of ihraam; it is lawful to do what was previously forbidden in ihraam.

During Umrah, pilgrims do not go to the port, Arafa, or Muzdalifah, or throw stones at the stones (stone columns representing devils) or offer animal sacrifices. These rituals are performed only during Hajj.

How to perform Umrah:

1. When a person who wants to perform Umrah arrives at the meeqaat, it is recommended (both men and women) to bathe in the state of rest, including menstruating women and those suffering from postpartum hemorrhage. The man is straining his head and beard and does not have the ihraam clothes. There is no harm in what is left of it after Ihraam. There is nothing wrong if it is not possible to take a bath in the meeqaat.

2. Men should change their clothes in ihraam, while women only need to make their intention at that time in the clothes they already wear. There are no specific clothes for women, except that it is prohibited to wear the veil (mask and face) and gloves. Instead, they may cover their hands with the bottom of their headdress, while using the top of their outer garments or a separate piece of cloth to cover their faces by pulling them, if there is a need to do so.

As for men, they should impose ihraam in the meeqaat by wearing two pieces of cloth, which is called 'Azar and Reza'. Ridaa covers the upper half of the body, while Izaar covers the lower half. Do not wear any other clothing in addition to these clothes - do not wear any underwear, pants, shirts, shirts or hat.

Then the pilgrim makes intention in the meeqaat to start the ritual of 'Umrah by entering in the case of Ihraam. The intention must be in the heart, while the statement issued then is: "Labayka Umrah" or "Allahumma labbayka Umrah". This statement begins the ritual of Umrah. Therefore, the first pillar of 'Umrah is Ihram. The intent is made in the heart, while the student's opening tongue narrates. If you wish to do so, when you say "student", you may say a condition to God for fear that may prevent you from completing Umrah, whether it is sickness or fear - saying "in habasanee haabes fa mahillee haithu habastanee" The place prevents me from continuing). So if you do that and you are prevented or become ill, you may go out of ihraam. ("In response to your invitation, O God, I perform Umrah, here I am, O God, in response to your call, you have no partner, in response to your invitation, and I do not have a partner, All praise and blessings, and ownership of all that I have created is for you (alone, you have no partner)

When you reach the Sacred Mosque in Mecca (Holy Mosque), you must enter your right foot and say: "In the name of Allah, peace be upon him" Alaa Mohammed, and God forgive me and my daughter Rahba. (In the name of God! O Allah, forgive me my sins, and open the doors of your mercy to me). You must enter in a way that expresses humility and gratitude for the blessings that God has given him.

3. When reaching the Kaaba, stop reading the talib, then approach the black stone, touch it with your right hand and before it. If this is not possible, you should encounter Black Stone and refer to it. Do not push and trowel, cause harm and hurt by other people. When touching the stone, the following: "Bismil-laah, Allah is the greatest" (In the name of God, the greatest God) or "God is greater" (God is greater).

The pilgrim must walk, keeping the Kaaba to his left. When you reach the Yamani Corner, touch it with your right hand, if possible, but do not kiss it, and say: "Bismil-laahi wa Allahu Akbar". If this is difficult for you, go in the performance of the tawaaf without touching it, or referring to it or even saying "Allah is great" because this was not from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) on the other hand when you reach or be parallel to the black stone, touch it with your hand Right, before and below "Bismi"
